Since we're in a time warp right now, thought I'd dig up this post.
I forgot about the snake I found in one of my trucks.
We started using the sticky paper instead of poison so the meeces wouldn't crawl off and die/stink. Opened to door to the truck to this:

He's wrapped around the seatbelt and stuck at both ends. Notice the rusty shears on the left.
Next pic. you might want to send the young ones to the other room or cover their eyes.............

Gotcha, I thought I was going to have to cut him in two to get him out, but I tried pulling him off the paper first. Once his head was free he started moving. He was cold and moving slow, but he was not happy.

Poor guy was trying to shed and had crawled into the truck, his eyes are glazed over because he's shedding. I set him up on a rock in the sun to warm up and he crawled away.
I was cleaning the truck out for a guy who was coming to buy it, told him the story just before he climbed in to drive 1600 miles home. He said he got the creepy-crawlies a couple of times during the trip.

Definately don't want that crawling up your pant leg when you're driving!  Good job getting him free.  I was afraid to see that second pic!  Thought there would be "two" snakes!

A lot of interisting stories and "finds", actually I never found much, a couple coins, receipt slips, etc. But after being away from the muscle car scene for more than a few years when I bought the Charger, Challenger and Runner I guess you could say I refound  the spirit of my more youthfull days. I guess it is true, "What goes around comes around" and I'm having a blast, especially when I ocassionally ( but rarely do this) blow some X-brand off the road and see their jaw drop. It's like they are saying, "Did you just see that old f'riken fart?" LOL  :burnout:
