So why did the check not clear the first time??  Sometimes problems do happen like dominos but just keep a positive attitude and deal with them the best you can!!  Sooner or later you will gain control of it and all will be good!!

The bank should cover all charges ASAP. Go to the manager.

I hate to say this but, most businesses are like that. They have no sense of accountability for their actions or even want to help out the little guy. All they care about is getting there money or at least most of them. Sorry to hear of your bad luck. Sounds like you're getting just as bad luck as me.

Banks can be a pain. I wrote the ol' lady a check to deposit into her account on Friday. She deposits it and gets cash back. What she didn't notice is that what was left was put right back into MY account! Why the hell would I write a check to myself!?!? At least the bank made it right. Her rubber check fees will be taken care of by the bank. They are honest enough to admit they screwed up, which is why I love them! Despite thier occasional mistakes, they treat me good!

Find out who goofed and HOLD them accountable. :gripe:    :spank:  :nono:  If they still won't accept accountablility consider talking with a Lawyer. :coffee:   You'd be surprised what a friendly letter can do to motivate people and businesses.

It's a case of a business (in this case a bank) not admitting it's mistake until being pressured long and hard enough. Stay on them but in a considerate tone, i.e. 'I understand mistakes happen; i am only seeking written acknowledgement so that my accounts as well as my credit history may be put back in good standing." yad yada yada... :ack: man i hate playing politics and having to put spins on things :banghead:  Stay on them and make sure things are put back in order

I can understand your frustrations, and indeed if you let them wear you down then they will compensate you.    What you must do is go up the ladder at the bank........if you dont get the right answers from local dept, then go to the dept manager......  Man i hate to hear a story like yours..........makes me irritable to just read it

Dont get frustrated, all is good!
As far as teh bank is concerned? They'll take care of it. Dont fret the small stuff, ittl all work out.
I had a check for 13,000 bounce, took my bank 2 weeks to tell me, and the check was good 1 hour after they bounced it. They never re-ran it. Needless to say, I had lots of late fee's, and a supplier who had a check bounce, but it is all straitend out, and my bank paid the fee's, for not re-running it lke they are spose to.
