For The People Who Wanted To See - New Wheel Set Up
« on: August 10, 2005 - 06:56:01 PM »

Here are some photos taken today. As I said before nothing major, just tyre change and the tail lights are in.
They have been busy doing the usual everyday insurance work but are ploding along when they can.

New rims and tyres are:

Chrysler Rallye Wheels (From Jegs)

Rear  - 275/60-15x8"
Front - 245/60-15x7"

Cheers,
Carl

Why thank you very much Laura, nice of you to say so.  :grinyes: ;)

Yip, I am very happy and will be keeping the Rallyes on for sure.  :D
The cop rims were also very nice but they are limited to 245's due to the arkward back spacing configuration.

I think they look great, at least when it hits the road for the first time it has the correct factory wheels on them (except size of course).

Thanks also hemi71!

Hey NZ ,
The Ralley wheels look absolutely fantastick ! Dude , I am so envious right now! What size did you go with on the rears. I wanted to go huge , say 15x10 , but I'm not sure the wheel spacing will let me get away with it.

Thanks JS27.   Yip, they haven't quite finished yet as you can probably see the "DODGE" reverse lens letters aren't even in.   They're going to touch that area up. Not with paint though, not sure exactly what they're going to do. But it is black.

Once the car is "complete" I'm going to walk around it inch by inch making sure everything is right or correct to how I want it.
If not I will let them know and they will correct the problem. Once the tail end is basically finished I'll snap some shots and you can have a look to see if it's looks correct. The tail light chrome top black out bit etc..... Do you have a photo of what you mean mate?  :D

Cheers,
Carl

The Rear tyres are BFGoodrich Radial T/A's and are 275/60-15x8"
The fit is perfect, about 1 to 1-1/2" of clearence from the wheel lip. The car is stock set up so you can do the same.

I'm obligated to praise your choice of tire, since they are the exact size/brand that I just put on my Chally
