This was my first Mopar. Bought it in 1987 for $1200.
It was our daily driver for a few years. In about 1990, I quit using it for a daily & it slept in the garage mostly.
One night in 1993 while on a nice drive, I was involved in a head-on altercation with some drunk schmuck.

I found a parts car shortly after & it's looked like this since. Family, work & life kept me from fixing it early on...but thankfully, it's looking like I'll be able to get going on it sometime next year.

These pics were taken last month, I haven't scanned any from when it looked good.

More pics & stuff on the '70 site here; http://1970chargerregistry.com/70messageboard/viewtopic.php?t=1862&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

Dude , theres nothing wrong with that! My cousin has been searching for about a year and a half now for a '69 or '70 charger, and we just can't seem to find one for him. ( his first was a '73 charger!)
We used to race the back roads up here in R.I.  for fun on friday and saturday nights.
Now I've got the Cuda and he is jealous as h-ll over it. I no for a fact he'd give his thingies for that car!

Here's pics of the first Mopar i owned in various looks as my taste and knowledge changed. Dad co-signed with me in January 1977 and i sold it in 1988. The freak snow happened while i was with friends at a Pretenders concert  :dogpile: :driving:  :wasted:  :guitar: :guitar:  at the old Agora Ballroom in downtown Atlanta in the early eighties. Maaaaaany concert road trips in this car  The block in the first engine shot is a T/A. Later on i acquired a complete 6-pack for $150; my buddy Robert and i (on the right) show it off. A pic of mine and my buddy Joe's at a Birmingham show mid-eighties (yep, he had sidepipes, sunroof, homemade front dam on it - all i had were chrome mudflaps); then the repaint in JY3 sans Rallye stripes an fender mldgs followed by the final shots the day i sold it at the Chrysler Crazies show in Chattanooga in 88 wearing T/A stripes and spoiler. The fellow i sold it to transplanted the engine into his AAR, installed a 360 and i last heard it was sold and taken up to Framingham, Mass in the early nineties. Anyone seen JH23G3B225197?  ::) ::)

[edit] whoops, almost forgot - a pic during the Cragar SS period ;D

Not that I see every car around here, but I live about 30 minutes from Framingham, MA and I haven't seen it.  Not many Mopars around here.  Winters aren't too kind to them up here.  Lotsa salt!
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Cool Mopars guys. Here's the first Mopar I owned. I kick myself for trading this truck because a year ago I would of had it payed off. Here's a picture for your enjoyment.  http://www.dodgetrucks.org/home/black_03_dakota/DV00007.jpg

My first mopar was a 72 W100 with a slant six and 4 speed. My dad gave it to me when I was 12, I traded it for a 4 wheeler when I was 14, since I couldnt drive very far anyway.

The only pic I can find is of it in front of the airplane in a wind storm.
