    my 85 dodge 4x4 318 auto 321 gears is currently geting 11.5-12 mpg! on a good dry week! its got 8 or less with my old tires 33 12.50 super swampers tires makes a world of difference!!

    I have two trucks at the moment...

    One is a 2004 Ram 1500 with the 5.7L Hemi, and the other is a 1990 Ram D150 with a 318.  The 2004 is a daily driver and also used for trips, while the 1990 is used for the rough, dirty jobs and has over 225,000 miles on it.

    Finally I took some pictures of my truck.  I just use it for going to work in bad weather and hauling parts.  It gets about 21MPG, but not any good at all for towing.

    I know... it isn't a Dodge...

    Hey, I got ya all beat, I'm getting 7mpg towing my AMX back up to Idaho........... usually get at least 10 towing.

    I have been plowing, for my whole tnak, and guess what? I got 7 MPG.
    For plowing, that ain't bad.............................

    I think it has more to do with 35" tires and 3.55 gears than anything.
    My '89 460 with 4.10's would get up to 16-17, that's really good for a 460.

    Know what you mean about the tires and gears! My little 318 gets bad mileage unless you are going real fast.'
