Build dates of your cars

A thread to get this board going   What was the build date of your cars? I don't know the exact date of mine so maybe someone could tell us how to get the date . I only know the month and year

My Cuda is 4-73 according to the tag on the door.

One of mine is 6/73 the other I have no idea as I don't have the build sheet. The sequence number is higher so I'll have to assume somewhere between june 73 and the end of the 73 model year run.

If you still have the door VIN decal that has the build date on it

My '72 Challenger was made 8/17/71.

Along with the door VIN decal you can decode your fender tag to get the day.

Check out Year One at    http://www.yearone.com/updatedsinglepages/Id_info/mopar/mopar%20fender%20tags/decodefendtags1.html  They also have other years so hit the back button, etc.



Oops, picture didn't post.  Just check the website to get the month and day from the fender tag. :)
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

My 74 Challenger was Dec. 05 1973. 

Will have to look at the VIN on my 73 Road Ruster.
