I would find out where the guy lives, and give his car a paint job! (pink, purple, and GREEN!

Do you mean Panther Pink, Plum Crazy, and Sublime?  Tri-color High Impact paint job?  COOOOOL!  LOL!   Don't forget to remove the chrome trim before painting!  LOL!)

Just kidding, I know what you mean.  Revenge is sweet, until you get caught!

Just to be careful if it does go to court I would as soon as possible snap some digital pics of the damage.  Make sure the date is on the picture.  Like some one said, it could be old damage.  Look for rust, etc.

Maybe the guy is just looking for a paint job for free.  I've seen damaged cars that purposely let someone hit them or get in thier way so that the old damaged area will get hit again so the victim will have to pay for the damage.

I say call this guys bluff.  Let him bring you to court.  See if it'll go to trial.  Just because there were no police doesn't mean it'll get dropped.  On my old Integra, when I parked it at school (A long time ago!) some kid (Turns out a heroin addict.)  Stole some parts off it and took off.  Someone left a note with his plate # and I trace it to him and filed a police report and brought him to court and got retrobution for the damage.

What sort of road surface were you on?  Are there really that many rocks there?  Take a pic just in case if it does go to court.  Hope all goes well!

#1.  There are very few rocks on the road, and what rocks there are, are just pebbles.  He claims I cracked his windshield.  He also claims I left chips all over the front of his car.  I will tell exactly what happened now.

I drove to Kmart, because it's always empty, and spent 5-15 minutes there, taking pics.  I drove across the street, to Sonics.  As I was pulling in, my tires chirped on the incline.  The jackass in question drove across me, in front, and pulled in the drive through, with 5 cars in front of him.  I drove around, and parked in a stall.  I spent 5 or so minutes taking pics, then left.  I checked, saw nobody anywhere NEAR me, and floored it in the turn.  The stoplight was red, so I waited there for a while.  When the light turned green, I turned left, and seen a vehicle that I thought was the jackass's, still sitting in the drivethrough line, with one car still in front of him.  I then drove to Herbergers, which was across the street from Sonic, and catycorner to Kmart.  I spent 10 minutes or so there, taking pics.  Then, drove a little ways down the block, to WalMart, because there are usually some nice cars there, and I thought it would be cool to park my car next to one, and take pics.  He caught up to me in Walmarts parking lot, and yelled at me.  When I asked how bad the damage was, he replied that he didn't know, because he hadn't checked yet  So, we got out, and he pointed out one paint chip on his hood.  I didn't notice a cracked windshield.  As it was dark, I couldn't see anymore damage, nor could I tell how recent the paint chip I could see was.  I gave him my info, and drove on to the county fairgrounds, where I took more pics, and then drove home.  He called me at least once a day after that, saying that he would get an estimate, and how was I gonna pay him, etc.  When he did get the estimate, he kept saying that it was for over $1200, than he had a witness, and that if I didn't pay, he would sue me.  I asked him why he didn't just follow me to Herbergers, and he replied that it was because he had got out to check the damage, at the red light, with a flashlight.  Now, I was the only one at the red light, and, when he showed me the damage I allegedly caused, there was no flashlight.  At that time, I began to get suspicious.  When I got a copy of the police report, I saw that the damage listed was only $100, which made me mad.  When my insurance company called me about the claim, and asked if I admitted to being responsible, I said no.  Shortly thereafter, the guy calls me up, and askes why I said I wasn't at fault.  I told him that I thought he was scamming me, and he said he would take me to court.  This was a week ago.  I haven't heard from him, or the county, since then.
