A guy is trying to scam me into paying for his new paint job...
« on: September 20, 2005 - 06:56:47 PM »
Remember those nighttime pics I took of my car?  Well, leaving Sonics, I decided to play a little, so I looked for any other cars, in front of me, behind me, and to the sides.  Seeing none, I floored it through the turn, and left some rubber behind me.  However, some guy claims he was behind me, and that I threw rocks all over his car while I was peeling out.  However, his story is full of holes, and inconsistancies, so I told him that if he wants me to pay, he's gonna have to take me to court.

What really pisses me off about this, is the fact that he repeatedly told me that I did over $1200 worth of damage, but, on the police report, he only lists the damage as $100.

He's just trying to scare you. He can't get you to pay for anything. would he have a better chance of getting the owner of the lot to pay for failing to clean up the gravel?
This guy sounds like a real jerk.

Don't mean to be a a$$hole but I had to point out that you spelled college incorrectly. I probably wouldn't have said anything, but you have been going for 4 years.....so for your sake, I hope that was just a typo.....

NZ,

I didn't think it was a typo.  I just figured it took you 4 years to paste little pictures on a piece of paper.   :P
