If I had to choose from the above options, I would not pick #1, so I would have to pick #2.

Have you thought about maybe doing something crazy?  Maybe putting a Viper motor in it?  Then again, I don't think I would do that to a 71, but that's just me.

Reinstalling a 440-6 would only make sense if the rest of the car was done to the biuld sheet/fender tag with the factory color scheme and options.I would sell or trade it for one with the right options and colors or just redo it the way you want.

WOW, all these $500 offers, I dont know what to do???

I was playing around on e-bay several nites ago, and got approved for a 49K loan on any car i want, as long as i buy it off of a dealer or on e-bay....LOL.   Anybody want to make a legitimate offer on the 71?  I might see a superbird 4 speed in my future.

My wife has a taste for...dare i mention it....a corvette.....and since she's put up with my addiction to Mopars for the last 24 years...i just might get her a vette for our 25th anniversary.

My 71 hemicuda clone is getting to the point where it's getting to be the same ole, same ole for me. This leaves me several options:

What do you mean, same 'ol? Same ritual at the shows, people peering at your car, or the idea of driving a $100K+ car where you know you can get a Vette and pocket the rest to use for another car equally just as fun, such as a super bee or roadrunner?

Sell the '71, keep the hemi and drop it in a '70.

Or sell the lot and buy a T/A.

If you have the coins, time is another matter - do number two. Build it your way for your enjoyment. I know about the "never satisfied" thing as they can always be better, cleaner, shinier...etc. But have fun and build it just as you may have ordered it from the factory.
The stroker 440+6 is a fun avenue and would lead to lots of giggles and chits but the old elephant in a cuda is a combo that's hard to top - escpecially when the hoods open at the local Gag and McPuke.

Thanks, at times I wish it was Triple Black though  :) . Overall it's much different than anything I've seen at shows, cruises. Can't wait to get it out and about next spring.
