Thanks 4C and SC73! :-) I'm over the moon with her.

NZ, was Lucy originally Petty Blue?  It looks like some showing in the under hood shots.

Yip an original B5-Blue car with B5 blue interior. Also had a rare column shift bucket seat option.
While it is a rare color car option I chose to do it may way. If it was in the US I would have restored it factory correct, but down 1 out of 500 people who view the car could care less what it came with. I converted to console shift (using only the correct yuear parts).
When I got the car it had been painted white for some tim, I'm guessing since the early 80's.
Kind of a story I guess.......B5 Blue then WHite change to it's life so I kept it that way.

The main reason was I'm not a fan of B5 Blue. :-)

The bodyshop will probably begin to weld the rust next week, so within a month. Both me and the bodyshop want to have the car out of their way before the winter comes in about a month. Then people will start crashing and the bodyshop will have their hands full. Found out yesterday that the front frame (enginecompartment) is bendt, so they have to fix that too.. seems like someone has jumped with the car or something. These old cars sure have had a rough life. Right federwall is higer than the left.

Impressive work you are carrying out on your Barracuda, I must say. If I only were able to handle welding I would've been happy. Nice color you've chosen and I hope to see your car some day. I didn't go to the Hot August Nights last year because of work. Maybe this year...

Sure it's far away from you, but you really should go to visit the WPC National Mopar Muscle Meet once.

no... I seen the rope. I was holding my breath until he got it on the stand :grinyes:
And it looked like the rope was just catching under a valve cover in one pic..... :faint:
Nice project though.

Joakim, hi.
Recently I found your name as a member of the WPC Club of Norway. I really hope you are able to write a few lines and add some pictures of your restoration job for our member's magazine Mopar News. I really encourage you to why I wish there were more muscle car articles in there and especially those lovely E-bodies. And I would appreciate more features of our younger member's cars.

I also hope it's possible for me to make your Cuda car of the month at our web pages. Definitely will be worth it!
