Thanks all!
chevyconvert, AAR stipes., Street_Challenged73, I'm exited too, my car was totaly alive on the roads, needed two lanes at speed.
Here are some more pictures!
The first ting we did was to rust-protect the car using 5 Litres(!) of Tectyl. Sprayed with high presure in every weld, seem, joint and all hollow sections. Here on this picture, the Griffin radiator are in, and the headliner too.
This is my TTI 2,5" X-Pipe system, connected to Flowmaster 40 series Delta Flow mufflers.
Since my Flowmasters are .5" longer than the system are designed for, a little trimming was required. Had the system up three times before I was happy.
Here I am fitting the MAS Fiberglass front spoiler. The front clip was where installed to. The blackout on the fenders will be painted later. The bud on the left was good on a warm day.
Me and Roger have had an blast working on the car.
Rear AAR Spoiler from Year One. The shield bracket were restored too.
I installed new bearings and restored the brakeshield.
New brakeshoes and overhauled the caliper with new seals.
Put on the 'Cuda emblem! That was great. By the way, this is an abandoned railwaystation, that's why the tracks are there. The bytravelers get quite a sight when the train comes by. A green 'Cuda on the side of the track!
Put the grill in. The black grill and AAR mouldings are soo cool! Got them on E-bay for a steal price!
Here the door hardware are beeing installed. Roger, the guy that helps me says there won't be a sound inside the car, exept from the sounds you want to hear. No windnoise, and no slammering. All weatherstips and rubber are new.
This is the final picture taken two hours ago, got lights, and got the engine running! First time in 10 months.
