Any A-Body Freaks Out There?
« on: September 26, 2005 - 12:12:03 PM »
I am restoring a 1962 Dodge Lancer...crazy but cheap fun!  My buddies and I are looking for A-body freaks that are in the Atlanta GA area to cruise with.  So far we have a 1962 Lancer 4-dr (mine), a 62 Valiant 4-dr, and 2 62 Lancer GTs.  When we get together it is unbelievable

You know, when you were telling us about your Lancer, I just couldn't picture what it looked like in my mind.  Looks like a great cruizer!  What's under the hood?

My daughter is in the process of tearing apart a 74 Duster which hopefully will be done by next summer....we'll see.

i grew up owning a few A body cars and love them still today..........I had a 340 Duster and later a 74model 360 Duster.      My first Duster was a chocolate brown 340 that had that Killer looking 340 Wedge emblem on the hood..     Golly the chicks loved that car.

I've got a '67 Fastback Barracuda that I just picked up. It's getting a mini cage, built 440, built 727 and should hit the high 10's by the time it's all said and done. My other A-body took 2nd place at a show right behind a NICE black '64 modified Lancer. Those are really sweet looking cars!

Don't take offense, but I think the '62 Lancer has got to be the ugliest car that Mopar ever made. But you know what? I still love them! If I came across a decent one for a good price, I would snatch it up in a heartbeat! That red one looks great.
