Got motor in...wadda ya think?
« on: September 28, 2005 - 08:23:06 AM »
Finally got motor in...now if I can find the right adapters to go from the carb feed line to -AN I can hook up fuel line to pump.  Got wiring harnesses coming from Evans.  Should be able to crank it up this weekend if all goes well.  I'm also sweating hood clearance...got a 1 1/4" drop base...hope I can use my rallye hood.

That looks great in that nicely detailed engine bay!!  That color does look close to BMW's Calypso Red a little.

Rich,

You bay looks great...very close to what I have.  I see you have PS...I through my old pressure hose out long ago and I don't know which one I need....Advance Auto gave me the wrong one (think it goes on a Federal pump) and I need one for a Saginaw?

Gentlemen.............very fine looking engine bays.    DW fine looking engine bay.    I love attn to details.   A sharp, detailed engine compartment is usually an indication as to the rest of the car.    Very Very nice

NAPA did the same thing to me, the books show 2 #'s there , I think all I have is the wrong #, when I traded it in they did not give me another bill, one is the pressure hose, the other # is the plain hose(used with clamps) Maybe you can work backwards??? Sorry I cant help more.
#7-1213 was 11 bucks, so I'll assume that is the reg hose
#7-1590 was 27 bucks so that should be the press hose.  I brough my old hose in the second time & we kinda matched it up by the bends. Rich.
