Codes
« on: October 02, 2005 - 12:49:16 AM »
Here's my cheatsheet that i use when i have a question concerning what our various codes indicate. It's not a definitive decoder but goes a long way.

I have made quite a study of this info since I bought the book it came from 12 years ago in the hope of getting a new fender tag made for my car with info supplied from my build sheet. I have it all sorted except for the top line where I have found codes on similar cars to my Barracuda that I don't reconise .
They are the number '26' and the codes 'EN2' and 'EN1'

Cheers from a Kiwi downunder

"26" indicates 26 inch radiator support opening

"EN1" and "EN2" are callouts that thats the end of codes for that tag...EN1 is end of codes, line 1   EN2 is end of codes, line 2    Line is the line printer/stamper the code plate came off of.

Pictures restored - also added are the pages that can help folks with 1962-1969 Mopars; they were originally included as well in this insert from the old Mo(r)Performance Magazine. Thanks Jimmy :)

I know this is an old thread but I can’t make out the title of this book. I’m trying to find info on my broadcast sheet from the build codes lines 3,4,5. I can decode the rest of my sheet but not these 3 lines..
I’ve searched and can only come up with a few codes and would like to find this book if it gives the build codes also. Thank you!

Typical.  That's really the big downfall here.  All our reference pictures from years past are gone.

Apologies for the delay guys - I'm about to restore the pics. I may be missing it but it appears as if there is no modify button on the original post.

No biggie, I'll just add them here
