the lest they could have done is mounted the supports and the bubble gum on the inside of the fender iv made some crazy rigs before but that beats any of mine! lol

That was definitely an "I can't afford breakfast" kind of repair!

That reminds me. A long while back, my brother was stripping the bondo off a '55 Chevy pickup he had, only to discover that a previous owner had soldered in a Copenhagen lid to patch a rust hole! Redneck with the signature ring on his back pocket!
