I will have to try to come up with some pictures.  I do have one of a 1970 Triple Black Challanger I had.  I did change it and install R/T emblems on it.  It was suppose to have a Bumble Bee Strip in back in white But I did not put it back on.  It had the ralley dash option and heavy duty suspension.  I did change a few other things on it but it was for the better and it really looked good.  I did all the body work and paint.  I installed the Vynal top and I overhauled the engine, transmission, front end and brakes.  It took me a couple of years to get it to the point I wanted it.  If you have seen the pictures of my Barracuda the Challanger was worse when I started on it.  I will try to get a picture posted soon.

I am not sure I can do it but will try.

Well Guys it seems that I started something. It really seems strange to me when I contacted Chrysler on this subject and gave them all the numbers and tag information they could not tell me if it was or was not a R/T. It did come from the Factory with the badges on it. So it was not!!!! a clone as some say. I have owned over 15 Barracuda's of all styles and banges and 10 or so Challangers. I have worked in Chrysler Dodge Plymouth and Jeep dealerships. I have been in the Automotive Business for over 39 years. Alot with Chyrsler. I am not saying I am the authority on e-bodies but I do know more than most and I have proved several wrong in the past. I am not trying to be argumentative or hard to get along with. I want to say that most have not seen what I have or been where I have been or owned what I have owned or could have owned.

No hard feelings Gordon, we are here to talk and educate one another. I have worked at a Chrysler dealer for over 22yrs and have been involved with Mopars since 1969. I have a hunger for knowledge and information regarding these vehicles, especially E-Bodies, and there are a quite a few knowlegeable people on the forum who are not strangers to the Mopar hobby.

Very nice!
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Thanks,  I really hated to let it go.  I traded it for a new car.  Would like to have it back some day.  I sold it one time and then bought it back.

Has anyone looked at the Barracuda.

I am not sure where it is now.  But you never know where it will turn up.

O it was a matching numbers car.

I think that this topic really got a lot of people thinking about the r/t option and what could be done at the factory and at the dealership.  I beleive it is a good learning tool for all and the more we know the better we are at our subject.
