    70 hemi conv.

    Does anyone know about the 70 hemi 4-spd conv that is mabe now in england (lime green)It came from Nova Scotia .was offered it in 1980 but who knew then what they would be worth today?(kick kick)

    Do you mean this one? I got these pictures a few years ago from a guy that took them himself back East in the 80's.

    Hi ya Rev,  my ears were burning so I had to check it out!  LOL I hope nothing nice was said, I'd hate to get a swollen head.

    I've been hanging out on Moparts lately but I'll try and post a bit more often.

    Ahhh Yes, Mr. Burpin Chunks  ...   LOL why does that name make me queasy?

    He e-mailed me with his questions and I got back to him but I haven't heard from him since Monday.

    Thanks for the link to that thread, I'll post me responce again to him there.

    The old rAtFiNkMoBiLe is a blast to drive. Believe it or not (and I've owned several dozen E-body's) it's thje most fun car I've ever had.

    Heres a shot of the steering wheel, it used to be a 70/71  rim blow wheel.

    The rim blow switch groove was filled in, the whole wheel painted with ALSA corp. Ghost Chrome, then a 1/8" chrome stripe was applied around the outside diameter with a 1/32" Black stripe on either side. I chiseled off the mounting cone for the rim blow center cap, drilled and mounted a standard wood grain wheel horn mechanism then custom painted (Santa Cruz screaming hand for all you non skateboarders) a 72/74 center cap so now I have a more traditional horn. With everything bright Silver I decided to tone it down a bit by cutting out some Satin Black vinyl and sticking it on the spokes.

    Yes i would assume it would be the car near Truro Nova Scotia Wow that was 1981 when i saw the car.Isn't the internet amaising?

    Yep that's the same car. I heard it went from Canada to Boston (East Coast) and then I lost track of it from there.

    Did you notice the hood inserts painted Black?

    Did you see the car when it was in Canada or just hear about it through the grapevine?

    Thanks Rev + April, because 99% of the wheels I do are stock/original looking it's fun doing some modified/customized stuff every once in a while.

    I had to replace my heater core the other day so while the core was being rebuilt I took the time to do a bit of airbrushing on the front face of the heater box. What's a rAtFiNkMoBile without a few Ratfinks peering out from hiding places. Watch yer skirts girls! LOL

    Yes sew it in person in a barn with a big block cuda orange
    did a search for chellengers and went to "english challengers found it and got an e-mail from some one who knew the collecter who owned it ,

    Thats cool! I'd love to hear what has been happening with the car in England, can you e-mail me or post here with what you found out?

    The barn you saw the cars in, is it the one in the backround of the picture I posted?

    Do you have any info on the Cuda that you saw with the Hemi Challenger conv.?

    What price were they asking for the car when you saw it?

    You said it had the "Blackout", do you mean the vinyl tape like on this picture of one of my old convertibles?
