Wifes new "fun" car
« on: October 04, 2005 - 03:19:21 PM »
Wife wanted a "fun" car to drive occassionally...she wanted either a vette ragtop, cobra ragtop, or a Stealth. Looked at a few C-4 vettes, she was not impressed. She had a cobra before, and a 222HP naturally aspirated Stealth, but she liked this car the most, so we bought it. Not here yet, should have it by this weekend. Pretty impressive little car..with the AWD, there is NO wheelspin on launch...just grabs and goes. those twin turbos make for some fun.

Looks nice, Hemi71.  One of my friends back home has a '93 TT Stealth that really can haul and it's a somewhat appealing car. (he has 18"s on it, though.)

Very nice car!  What's the Hp rating?  300?

I've always liked those cars.  Color's real nice.  The front end reminded me of a hornet.  If it were mine, I would call it the "Blue Hornet".  (But it's not mine!)
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

I have always thought that the Stealth was a great looking car...but Dodge should have offered it with either the 318 or 360 (both production MoPar motors) and called IT the new Challenger

Thanks for all the positive comments! Shes a happy lady right now, although we wont be getting it till next weekend now. After all the years of being married to me and putting up with my Mopar addiction, she deserves a car she wants. Good side benefit is I get to have fun in it too!

Nice car. Hopefully it serves you well as I've heard of those and the 3000GT VR4s having some drivetrain problems.
