They get these fenders from Goodmark.  Sherman's is a Goodmark dealer. If you go to their website you can see when they're ready (not yet even though you can order them).

I have HEARD nothing but good things about Goodmark's fit and quality.  I have a 71 Challenger so I've been watching for these things to be ready to ship.

Yeah I posted about these before. Can't wait!!!

Rumor was that the E-Body fenders from Goodmark were going to cost $600 and they'd be ready December of 2005. I am interested in getting me some 71s with gill cutouts. I sent Goodmark an email a while back and this is what they had to say:

Maybe mid-2006...price around $500 each side.  Keep tabs on our website
for updates.

Hello,

I like to know about factory style quarter panels for -70 Barracuda. Does anybody have information, when production start on Goodmark? My car is wrecked both side at back and top have some damage too. I have another rust free top, but quarter panels have some dents and I like change them too, because i think it will be better do it now when car is under construction and paintjob isn't done yet.

Welcome CA!!  It is better to do it before the paint and while the car is under construction!!  I know they are coming but as for when, not sure anyone knows that for sure!  lol  You should start a thread in the newbie section and introduce yourself!!  If you have some pics of your car, that would be very cool too!!

The fenders like the Challenger quarters are supposed to be based on the Factory Specs so they shouldn't be oversized, they should be similar to the original DC replacement panels.  The whole idea with the Goodmark sheet metal was they were reproduced from the factory materials/designs/stamping molds so that they were the most accurate reproductions available and are supposedly MP approved (whatever that means these days).
