Came across via a friend of mine this 1970 'Cuda six pack auto car.. It's a crying shame this car has gone down this rust road, but here it is nonetheless.. I'm trying to get a picture of what this thing's worth for the guy and/or well,, me....... This is way too much of a project for me, granted, I had high hopes before getting there... Here is a link to a webshot album I have with some pictures I took of it..... I'd like to find a home for her, but need to find some sort of starting point on value in order to reapproach the guy... It looks to be an original plum crazy car, but it also has color that looks to be B5 on the floor pans below the pedals. The engine and tranny are long gone and it looks as if the original k-member with the skid plate is gone...  The floors and truck pans have to be assumed to be wasted.. I saw holes every where concerning those areas.. The front seats and mirrors look to be from a TransAm. The cowl has rust through around the master cylinder area. The car is a MAJOR project, no kidding there.... As you can see from the pics, there are major rust issues, but the framerails looked to be ok..  Even though there's a center console, I think the column auto is correct... The hood appears to be very useable....

Whoa there matey! Quite a find....and a major undertaking at it. No doubt, when done, the car will be highly regarded. But it depends on where you draw the line between junking the body or salvaging it. Judging from the pictures, I would lean towards saving the body, but certainly plan on investing $10-15k alone on metalwork and rustproofing alone to get the body the way you want it.

The 26" radiator that is still in there commands big bucks today. I'd offer $3-5k cash provided the car has a clean title (CLEAN title, no liens, no photocopies, the real McCoy). Look under the carpets, rear seat, and under the package shelf and see if you can locate a broadcast sheet. I'm assuming the fender code tag plate is missing, since you did not take pictures of it?

B5 blue or FC7 plum crazy, that is one find! 440+6 with rally dash and column shifter!? Gorgeous!

That will move you past the rust and get your juices going.

Column shift! Awesome that car was built for business (1/4's). Alot of straightline guys liked the column shift, right there no need for any arm movement and also saves some weight without the console and Slap-stik set-up. Pitty the engine got mugged.... :-(

Unfortunately, it doesn't have a title... :(  But, I believe in Texas you can get one.. The problem I guess is to verify it has no liens.. again, :(
