Another 71 Cuda Mirror Question....
« on: October 06, 2005 - 09:39:59 PM »
I was looking at purchasing a set of chrome rallye mirrors for my 71 Cuda from a local guy.  They seemed strange to me as both were remote.  Has anyone come across a remote passenger side rallye mirror before?  I sure haven't.  Thanks, Ed

The only passenger remote mirrors that I have seen so far are from the mid-1970s. I had one from a Cordoba once. It had a  l  o  n g cable on it so the driver could adjust it from his side. Cool stuff, they should have thought of it earlier.

I agree with Barry. I know you could get them in Aspen's and Volare's, but I haven't seen them on E-Bodies.

Had one in our '74 Chrysler town& Country wagon.

I agree with Barry and Mike, as the G36 code only provided for a remote driver's mirror and a manual pasenger mirror.

Take a look at this.  It looks like it could be an E-body pass remote mirror but the seller isn't sure.  It most likely isn't E-body stuff.

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Thanks for the help guys.  I knew I could count on the knowledge bank here. Also, 4Cruzin, thanks for the welcome but I am not brand new.  I just got deleted when the site had its problems a while back. I am glad the problems got worked out and I am able to get my daily fix of CC.com
