six barrel Cuda is home...
« on: October 10, 2005 - 10:01:37 PM »
Well, I went an got the $1350 'Cuda and she's home... Soooo, now comes the clean up and assessment.... But, there's no mistaken, she's a 6bbl car with apparently an original Shaker car. The Shaker grommet was brought to my attention and well, finally saw the "Carb Air" handle under the dash.
Guess I'll need to figure out what I'll need to do with her...

From what I can tell, the car went through a possible repaint prior to '83 to black.. The package tray area sheetmetal and trunk area are purple... So, leads me to believe it's an original plum car..

Awesome score!  That car doesn't look much worse than mine when I picked it up.  I had to spend a lot more money for it too.

Nice buy! I'm assuming no fender tag? It would be killer if you found the broadcast sheet.

Good luck with the resto, a great car to restore.

Not sure, but am placing feelers out there for a possible trade for a v-code '70 Charger R/T..... I'm going to try and track down some history on the car and "hopefully", it'll turn up the tags... Otherwise, it's a v-code that's an open canvas, albeit, a very holely one....
