Bobby Alloway/Pro Touring 70 Challenger
« on: October 11, 2005 - 12:38:49 AM »
has anyone seen this car in the Nov '05 issue of hot rod(pg 48)?  the car looks unbelievable.  Not to take anything away from Joe Roggin's Sick Fish cuda, but i think this challenger looks even better IMO.  The pro touring theme seems to adapt better to the body lines on challengers. again, just my opinion.

too bad there's only a small pic and caption of this car.  it deserves to have an entire article.

anyone know of a website or any additional pics of this incredible ride??  thanks

i don't subscribe to hot rod and normally don't by it too often; picked up the issue at the grocery store the other night because of that chally pic.  the car's that nice.  but there sure needs to be a full write-up on it with more pics..

Was it the Black Challenger? That thing looked sweet. I don't buy CHEVYROD..Oh I mean HOTROD, I just look through it at the grocery store, hoping they have a Mopar article for a change.

yep that was the one..

i'm giving serious thought to converting my unfinished prostreet 70 cuda into more of a pro touring theme.  not sure if it'll work w/o alot of major changes and it may not be worth the work and expense.  the dana 60 that i have now is too narrow.  plus the full cage and 4-link, motor set back, etc, etc.  but there's plenty of room with the wheel tubs to fit some 20's.   probably should keep it with the original pro street intention in mind.  car still on rollers and i havent bought wheels yet.  sort of a major decision.  what do you guys think?..

Yeah, that Challenger looks really cool.  I just got my Hot Rod (really cheap subscription rate I couldn't pass up.) and checked it out.

"Popeye" has quite a bit of pictures of this car...I actually saved the first 2 photos from a thread he had started a while back.

It has a full write in the newest issue of Popular Hot Rodding.  They just need to tone down the wheels a little.
