    Just curious what the biggest wheel and lowest profile tire combo you can put on a stock e body?

    I have two sets for my T/A. One set is the origional Polyglas on 15X7's. The other set is 235X60 15's on the front and 275X60 15's on the rear. They are also on 15X7 rally rims. I love the way they fill the wheel wells. I use them for cruiseing and the others for the shows.

    i think he is looking for a low profile tire. like a 17/18"+ wheel/tire

    anyways  i have 275/60/15s on 15x8s n the back lol

    17X8 in the front for sure. I think you can 18 X 10 in the back but not for sure. Burpin doesnt have a standard since Burpins has been modified.

    I have 17x9.5 305/45R17 in the back, with offset hangars and a rolled lip.  You can fit a little bigger tire in a challenger.

    What backspacing on those 17x9.5s?  I am planning on going 5" bs with 275 or 285/40s.  This is on a stock suspension 71 Cuda.....if it'll fit.

    the back spacing on the rears is 6.900" which isn't ideal, I use long wheel studs and 3/4" spacers to get them centered just right. Depending on what brand wheels you are looking to get, some companies will send you a rim and wheel center that is unwelded so you can fit them perfect, then send the company the specs and they will weld them up for you. Here is a picture of the same wheel/backspacing with a 275/40R17. I didn't like the fact that it didn't fill the wheel well as much as the 305 here are a couple of shots for comparison.

    1st: 305/45R17
    2nd: 275/40R17
    3rd: 275/60R15

    I sold the scoop to a buddy of mine who has a duster, I'm running an AAR hood now. I like the looks of the AAR hood better, although the duster/dart scoop was a different look than what I had seen before....

    Tire size 255/35ZR20 and 235/45ZR17  Wheels 20x8 and 17x8.  Could go wider on the back.
