sub frame connectors
« on: October 14, 2005 - 06:00:07 PM »
I came across some frame sub frame connectors a while back on e-bay and haven't been able to find them agian. The neat thing about them was that they were cut exactlly to the contour of the floor and didn't hang down. Does any body know makes them or if they have a website?

no thats not them. These look like they were made out of rectangular tubing .they welded directly to the floor. The top of the tube was contouried to mach the floor pan exactly.

I was talking to the owner (I think) a while back and I was supposed to be sending him some pics of the bottom of my car near the side pipes so he could develop some for AAR's and TA's.... I keep forgetting to do that. But I kinda doubt that he will be able to pull it off successfully. There is no roombetween the floorboard and the pipes....... :( I was gonna get them for a discount too.. I REALLY need some of those! Yes, NEED.

The frame rail conectors are from US Car Tool.
I installed them on my 70 cuda convertable.
I had a little trubble installing them. They did not fit very well.

But finished product can not be beat.   :wow:

I have not taken any pictures that show the complete finished product.

They may fit better on a car that does not have tork boxes.
