Cuda's and Challangers
« on: October 14, 2005 - 09:43:35 PM »
Hi all,

Seems I have started some talk about a few things.

I have owned several from a 63 1/2 to a 73 Barracuda.  I had a 1970 B5 Blue 6 pack Cuda.  I wish I had it back also.  I kick my self every time I think about the Panther Pink Hemi Cuda I could have bought in 1973 or 1974 for $500.00.  Just to think of what it is worth today really kills me.  And looking at Barrett Jackson makes me wonder why I ever got rid of any of the Cuda's or Challangers I have owned in the past.

Looking forward from hearing from all.

Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

Thanks for the welcome.  It is so good to be able to talk with others that are mopar nuts.  I was started out by my dad which had a 62 300 that came out from the factory with cheater slicks.

I have a 1970 Barracuda with the m46 option.  Those pictures are in the body shop section under 1/4 panel scopes.  I have not been able to find any of the other pictures except the black 70 Challager.  I am having a hard time to get it posted.  Any help would be appreciated.

Here is my Tripple Black Challanger that I added R/T emblems to.  I did all of the work paint and all.

I want to thank all for all I have learned to this point.  I thought I knew about everything there was to know about Cuda's and Challangers but I am still learning new things.  I thought that only Cuda's had the black rough paint on rear tail panels but now I know that Barracuda's with the M46 Scope options had the same tail panel paint.

Thanks

Here are some pics of what I have now.  It is a 1970 Barracuda with the M46 side scope option.  I have not started the restore yet but hope to be able to soon.

I would like to know how many cuda's and Barracuda's each have owned.  I will start to count the ones I have had and write them down.
