Thanks Mopar Fanatic,  we changed the plastic out when we were finished with epoxy primer and 2K, takes 1/2 hour to repalce everything and start fresh for the color and clear.   And Total BS, you are right - we hope to get the panels on by Sunday-- the pace will pick up then for assembly.  FFF, that pink grows on you- especially when its in the sun.  Tom, imagine white top and stripe against that pink-  blacked out front grill-- cragar wheels....  :droolingbounce:

Today we rolled the Duster into the other garage so we could get started on the 6 main pieces.  Metal work and then epoxy priming

Thanks guys.  the pieces dont look as nice as they did Tuesday night -- the epoxy primer sure showed us a lot of dents.  Had to take a hammer to a few of them.   then Evercoat filler.  and MORE sanding.  -- but the dents are filled.

It's really not that bad when you take it step by step.  Right now they're gray, tonight they'll be yellow, tomorrow they'll be grey again and hopefully on Saturday, they'll be pink! One day at a time, it's not so overwhelming....just very time consuming.  Dust is everywhere and the challenger's on the driveway!!  We got to get through this phase and put everything back in order!  :grinyes:

...Dust is everywhere and the challenger's on the driveway!!....

It's supposed to rain in Atlanta tonight and the Challey's going to still be sitting outside, exposed to the elements? Now that's showing some love!  I just wish I could offer it some form of sanctuary, but my little hole-in-the-wall garage is packed to the gills.

Only for a daughter! Rev & Red - You're  :2thumbs: in my book! :worshippy
