Great work your doing there Pixie and Rev. Family teamwork is priceless. I just wish I could return to Carlisle to see both of you and the Pixie Duster.

I really appreciate being called an inspiration. It means a lot. And the thing that got me "into" cars was I think my uncle. He had his old trucks when I was younger and we'd go to shows in Florida with him whenever we visited. I grew up around 'em and loved 'em ever since! What got me into Dusters was just the car itself.

Again, thanks for all the great comments! I'll keep you updated on whats next!

(As for today, Dad and I started to try and weld the floorboards in, but we ran out of time. Oh well! More time tomorrow! And Mom finished stripping the paint off of the hood! We're getting closer!!!)

Great to see the Duster progressing!I think being into cars is either in you or not although being exposed to cool cars at a young age doesn`t hurt.

I've been looking at your car JS...very similar.  Pixie's will have a white vinyl canopy top and white interior.  Legendary made us a white bench seat cover since they didn't come in white in 74.  We need to take that gold dash out and dye it black.  Soooo much to do!!  We will put in another bunch of hours tomorrow.

At least you've been there before and know what's involved. The light is shining at the end of the tunnel for you.

This dash had no woodgrain on it before either, or A/C for that matter.

:clapping: :wow: :clapping: Very inspiring does not even begin to say how cool I think this project looks to all. All those pics will serve as a reminder someday, as to the sucessfull upbringing of the ones around us that we care about, and want to lead down the right path. You should be very proud
Keep up the great work pixie, and all

If you want a pink that looks the same(FM3) in lower light conditions but pops when in direct sun, there is a porsche color waiting for you!
