Hmmm, I know Pixe_Duster is a die hard Mopar fan,  but she DOES have a soft spot for certain expensive european luxury vehicles.....  the porche color might intrigue her alittle....   :dunno:

The paint code I have from sikkens is POR009 color map was 43F.
They call the color karminrot and was a 72-73 color.

In low light conditions the color looks exactly the same as FM3, but in daylight it is much lighter.

Look at the different pinks!  Now JS27NOB's dart is a porsche color, the next two are Pink Ice's and we know they painted their's FM3, and then April's car.  Now granted lighting makes a big difference, but two of them are in direct sunlight. It looks like pink ice's is under flourescents.  I guess we're just going to have to mix up some mopar and some porsche and see how they look.

no matter what, FM3 on that duster is fitting, do you really want a Porsche color?  It is your decision, but FM3 with a clearcoat will give you nice results.

Clearly the color choice is going to be a hard decision- but I will be sure to keep you all informed on which color I choose!   :dunno: :crying:

Yesterday- My Best friend came over to help with some stuff on the car- (you may remember her from the pictures in the very beginning of this thread). She and my mom started stripping the paint off under the hood. Its a tricky piece!!

My Dad and I started welding! It was a lot of fun! Hopefully those floorboards will be in soon- (like by the end of the day!!)  :clapping:  :jumping: :swaying: :cooldancing: :woo:

Today will be a busy day-  so I better get a move on!

I'm impressed...seriously.

Most gals in my neck of the woods basically only know how to eat, crap and watch Oprah.

Great job on the car and having the initiative to learn them!!!!!!!

I thought so too April.  I'm beginning to think FM3 is a difficult color to capture!  I think she's sold on FM3...I can't wait to see her face when she see's it for the first time.  :bananasmi
