Thank you guys for all the encouraging words!! They really mean a lot to me.

Today went from good to....well in my words..."disastrous".

The good part was that I got my Grant steering wheel today, and yesterday I got my new air filter. Things were looking up. Today, mom and I cleaned up the steering column just in time for the steering wheel to arrive. Its all painted and it was lookin good. Then we decided to work on reupholstering the seats. I was so excited.

We pulled the leather out of the box, and VOILA! A cream color was unveiled. Much to my surprise, I ask mom if she thought the color was white or cream... and she said... ehh... it looks a little cream like. So I went to get a white dyed door panel to compare, and just as we thought, the seat covers were and still are a cream color.

Mom and I then decided that the ONLY thing we could do was to dye them white with the SEM dye, because if we got them sent back and new ones sent this way- we probably wouldn't make it to carlisle.  :( So off we went to buy some cans of dye.

When we got back we took out all the seat covers to find the correct seat cover for the seat we were going to then cover (I hope that you could follow that sentence. It was really confusing). Thats when we saw that we got bucket seat covers and not front split bench seat covers.

 :'( :crying: :22yikes: :faint: :o :'( :walkaway:

*sigh* So I will keep everyone posted on what will happen about our seats.

As Ron Burgundy once said "I'm in a glass case of emotion!"

And there it is.

OMG,

Somehow I think I must be related to the Davis family.  WOW!!! I thought that kind of stuff only happened to me. That stinks!!!  :swear: Who did you buy them from? Can they express you the correct covers since THEY screwed up??

.... Truer words were never spoken.  :iagree: There were many a times I thought I was dead in the water. You think for a day or two, and come back with plan "B". There has to be a way to get seat covers ASAP. Or buy a pair of bucket seats.

Well we contacted the vendor- but past 5pm--- we'll have to wait till Monday to work it out.  Honestly, when we got the box I just cracked it open a bit an pulled one of the vinyl pieces out a few inches (the back bench bottom) and it looked white in the light I was in, so just put it right back in the box and put it up in storage with the rest of the panels.  Today was a big surprise-  Im sure we'll get something going on Monday.    Anyway some more pics:
1) Panels Rev-it-up and PixieDuster Dyed
2) Pixie's Air Cleaner
3) Pixie's VERY COOL white steering wheel
