a phone call from the man
« on: October 15, 2005 - 09:19:24 PM »
I come home from work today and my wife looks at me weird and asks what did you buy?  I'm clueless cause since the belvadere vert. nothing.

she says I got a phone call from some lady called galen. still I'm clueless cause the only galen I've ever heard of is you know who. then the phone rings again and ist galen's  sec.  she says mr. govier would like to talk to me, so now my heads spinnin, what the hell is going on?
Galen gets on and he says we have an unname able mutual friend,  he heard I was looking for a 71 cuda and he's got one and he wants to
e-mail me some pics. good price   we talked for a while, really nice guy.  when I called back he got right on the line, I think I'm takin out a loan
pronto this car is solid.  I will keep informed.
Why are the only other cars on the road all in my rear view mirror?  Oh yeah cause I got a 440/6 pack

Thank you GOD for the "Go Fast Division"

Hi Hemi Hunter,

I looked at that car before Galen got it.  If you want more pictures and information, give me a shout.  That car was flooded out pretty bad, water was all the way up to the overhead console, trunk not so bad, frame not good at all.  The car could be done but will probably need to be re-bodied.  Here is one picture I took of it.

That car was stuck down in the mud hard!  They had to get a two tandem wrecker in there to get it out.  Brakes were locked up, shifting mechanism would not budge, no oil in the motor,  driver side rear spring was broke from rust decay, 72-74 seats in it,  and lots of mud!  According to the owner, he got 8k out of it.

Wow, what a shame.  Who would've thought just looking at the car from 20 feet away that so much damage had been done.  It looked great in the first pictures.

Am I the only one who has a problem with a guy selling cars AND presenting himself as
an unbiased expert.

Never a good idea to let the fox watch the hen house!

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.
