1970 challenger 440-6 pack, Correct tail panel color? Black, silver,body color?

Hello guys im restoring a 70  challenger r/t 440 6 pack car and i just trying to figure out what would be correct for the rear. I striped it down and didn't find any paint under the color the car was repainted to. I dont do to many challengers, alot of cudas. I would just like to find out the correct color for the tail panel Is it blacked out the body color or argent?

My vote goes to body color, but I think some guys painted it black to be different. It DEFINITELY wouldn' be argent.

If it isn't a SE or it doesn't have the A63 package then it would be body color.

I tend to disagree , I have seen a lot of R/Ts with it painted black , I cannot determine if it was part of the Bee strpie package or an option though , definatly looks better blacked out

Chryco - Were thses numbers correct restored cars?

I much prefer body color.
