No. That doesn't sound correct to me. I'm guessing you meant late as in 1973-74 models?
Anyhow, Welcome to the board, what MoPar(s) do you or your family own?

Some 70 R/Ts and a very FEW amount of 71s came from the factory with a T/A hood. As far as I know, there were no 72-74 with a factory T/A hood.

As you can see from Killer's response they were being made at that time.
Do you have any photos of your ride? Sublime would be one of my top favorite colors along with White (Of course)  and Black. :-)

Welcome to the site dix!

The T/A hood (option N94) was available as a stand alone option on other Challengers in 1970 and 1971. So far I know of four 1970 Challengers that came with them, two Hemi cars, one 383 and one 340. For 1971 i know of two so far, one 340 car and one 383 car.

T/Ake care,
Barry

Here's a Dodge ad that goes with the flavor of the conversation.  Looks like a '71 with a T/A hood.

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Pic #2 and 3 of my ARII 1/24 scale model car

Phil in New England-Massachusetts  Always thank God for what you have!

Thats the ad with the 71 T/A that was never built. I think it was the same pic as used in the 70 ad, and the grille was airbrushed in. Note the car has the side exit exhaust.

Isn't it missing the 71 rear fender vents also? ........
