That would be cool! I'm too far away tho.

Now, if you could rent a theater @ Carlisle..... even better a drive-in!!!!
How cool would it be to have a whole theater parkinglot full of Mopars watching VP?
And hey, @ $20 a ticket you could take the earnings and head to the swapmeet after. *big grin smiley*

It's a 2-3 hour drive for me, but worth it to see VP on the big screen.  Count me in.  PM Blue71Cuda.  He's from Lincoln, and not that far away, and knows a couple other members from the area.

That would be cool, Those chase scenes and jumps would be awesome.

One question though, what would the film be rated?  Nowadays threre would be too much drug use and nudity. And it's not very PC to say the least
My guess is NC-17

Maybe they could get the milktoast re-edited version for TV.
Of course then it would only be a half hour movie if they left out the commericals

-I'll go to my grave believing there was only the one. The 1971 film. The made for TV thing should have been called "Going for Groceries down the Road"

I agree, I still like to watch the remake due to the 68 Charger chase scene and you do see more of the Challenger in it but as far as plots go this one was a typical Hollywood poo. The original wasn't exactly a mind bender either I guess but it was mind in the era of the car, cult classic.

Right but I meant the TV version of the original movie, ya know "edited for television"

It's a cool movie but I'm saying if Barry Newman starred in the original but it came out in 2005 what would it be rated?

I'd say [M] Hardly any swearing (if at all) and the girl on the bike is nothing, just a pair of tits for a minute.
They are hardly anything anyway, more like a minute of mosquito bites. lol
