I voted for the Fairfield only because there was plenty of safe parking for everyone's cars and tow vehicle's with trailers.  This year we will rethink our route to the fairgrounds and see if we can shorten it up alittle.  Last year on Saturday, I pulled up next to a cool mopar on the way to the show.  He looked over and said, "nice 'cuda, don't you just hate sitting in the stop and go bullsh!t traffic?" I was like . . "HELL YEAH"!  HE said "follow me cause I know the back way in!"  WHat did I have to lose??  We had stopped for something so I had lost alot of the group but had just passed this really sweet looking PINK cuda (April) so I jumped in behind this guy and turned the corner not sure where I was going??  I slowed to see if April was going to follow cause I know she saw me turn and she was 5 or 6 cars back.  Then she made the corner and I slowed up alittle to make sure she could see where I was going as I assumed she didn't know where to go either.  We traveled down some really rolling hilly road for awhile and after a couple turns, we did arrive at the back door of the fairgrounds.  I know we definitely saved some time with that route and I will definitely be planning the best route to the show!!  Still planning on driving the hard top this year though . . . maybe.

Hahahaha Dave, I was thinking about that.  We had left the later than most of the group but we arrived at the fairgrounds at least 15 minutes before the rest, except for BB73 and the Chally's unfortunate overheating problem.  I was glad it wasn't anything major.

Will that hotel be completely booked by the time of the show? I can't commit to going since i might have to work and my decision to come down will depend on that. Thanks

There is a deadline as to when we have to book our rooms by.  If not booked, at some point they go to the public.  The hotel can't hold them for us forever.  Usually we book all our rooms and some people can't go at the last minute. . . and some people can.  Seems to work out pretty good usually.  If you're not sure, book a room and then you can always cancel it or give it to someone else.  I booked 2 rooms and maybe my brother will use it and maybe not??  But I have it if I need it!  Gonna be a great time! !    :clapping:   :clapping:   :clapping:

If you use our block of rooms (I would highly recommend it...that's where all the fun is!!), you have until June 4th to make a reservation.
