Where else to look for a 70 Cuda?
« on: October 30, 2005 - 05:09:47 PM »
So im one of the millions that want this car. Ive tried Ebay, collectorcartraderonline, dealsonwheels, and cars-on-line. What other online places are there to look for a 70 cuda project? (car less than $30,000)

I'd say check the for sale section of such sites as this one, http://www.transamcuda.com/cgi-bin/YaBB/YaBB.cgi?board=cudas , and www.cudaworld.com.  If you can't find any reasonable deals among these sites, then I don't know where all the 'Cudas are.  (trust me, you should be able to find a very nice 'Cuda for around $20,000-$28,500 around here or TransAmCuda.com or CudaWorld.)
1973 Dodge Challenger......................The ongoing project. (00/----\00)
1991 Dodge Stealth R/T Twin-Turbo....The sunny day cruiser (RTBoost)
1990 Toyota Celica GT Liftback...........The new daily & winter driver.
All-American Muscle: 'Cudas and Challengers...Still the Elite and always will be.

Where are u located?? Would a Challenger do?? I have a line on a nice survivor 71 Challenger located in North Alabama that has fairly solid sheet metal that I am trying to trade for. If I get it I would either sell it or swap for something I could use.....There are Cuda's out there, quite a few still here in the south tucked away, you just got to know someone to get past the shotguns and barbed wire fences. Another good place might be the Mopar show in Ocala, FL (Big Daddys). There have been some fairly nice cars there for sale in the past, might be worth a trip if you had the time.....

Try to go to some Mopar shows and events. Not all the cars for sale are expensive restored show cars. The next one is this coming weekend in Ocala, Florida at the Don Garlits Museum. That is north central Florida, right on !-75. The big shows include Carlisle, Pennsylavania and the Mopar Nationals. I bought my car at Carlisle, and it was no show queen when I got it.

Also Mopar collector's guide magazine!  Great place to pick up a car!!  You should be able to find something I would think!      Hang around here and someone will have something sooner or later!!
