That's good money or about 4 times of what I make defending freedom as an E-4 in the Air Force.
That's just wrong!

I think the pay is just what it should be because you go to 6 years of college of 18 credits of science a semester, which entails all the same stuff they learn in Med School.  Then you have to take a 3 part state board test to get your license where you have show you have the ability to compound medication.  Also you have to tremendous responsibility that you don't kill anybody.

I agree! around here good pay is 30,000 a year not many people make more than that!! unless your a doctor or lawyer!! cops start out at 28000 factorys start out at 23000 or lower!! my dad has been at the same compuny for 21 years and is just now making 26 a year!  so in this area if you made 82000 you would be rich!!

Either way its still good money IMO. A lot of responsibility but, good money. Heck anything here that pays $10-$15 per hour is good money.

That is pretty much the reason I got into it because after you put your six years in your pretty much set.  You dont have to go back for a masters degree or anything like that.  I recommend it to any of the young people on the board who are still in high school.  If you can put up with the 6 years of hard work at school you are good.  You will definately have a job when you graduate that pays upwards of 80,000 a year.

I agree with being set on that. I've been on the tandem of switching my major but, not sure anyways you know. Anyways, just food for thought.
