new here, just saying hello
« on: October 31, 2005 - 01:54:16 PM »
just introing myself, my name is dak im 19 and im from san jose

ive been a huge fan of mopar(challengers in particular) for about 6 years

i dont own one yet but ive been shopping for about 3 years, i think i found a winner.

its a 340 72 rallyeye and the guy wants 16,500 for it.  it has a minor rust on the bottom of the doors and rear fenders.  ive checked it out and it doesnt seem that bad.

im in the process of learning how to do bodywork and paint so that this thing doesnt cost me a fortune.

so anyways i was just saying hello and i plan to get a lot of useful info here.

Welcome aboard. You have found a great site for learning about the E- Bodies. It's an addiction. What are your plans for the car once you get it?

the car is a 340 now my plan is to put a 440 six-pack in it.  i know this will take forever to do but its a nice thought that keeps me going. :)

the car is black on black metal roof has a 4 speed manual pistol grip, and NOS for whatever reason(i will be getting rid of that.)

i dont have pics on this comp., i have one from a while back thats on my home computer and ill take more when i go to look at it again.

ill post that pic up soon enough

and yea this place seems great.

Hey welcome to the site. Your not to far from me, I'm in Concord.
Sounds like your on your way to having a nice E body.
If you do end up getting that car, and you want to sell the NOS PM me, I may be interested depending on what kit it is and the price.
