Let the cruisin' begin
« on: October 31, 2005 - 07:45:55 PM »

Greetings everyone.  I have finally been able to get my '69 Cuda on  the street.  It took a while to get everything together. I live in the Atlanta Ga area.  Decent cruisin' weather about 9 months a year.  I am soon to be retired and should have plenty of time on my hands. My Mopar is a '69 Barracuda Fastback with a 528 Hemi. Over 775 horsepower on pump gas. This thing is a blast to drive.  It is definitely "oldschool".  I have lurked on this site before, but decided to take the plunge and sign up.  I have a little knowledge of these old Mopars, so if a topic comes up that I might be able to help someone, I will throw in my 2 cents.  Later-----Oldschool

Had it about a month.  It is a retirement present to myself for 30 years of hard work....lol.

Not a lot of pictures yet.  Had to get it appraised before I could get it insured.  Had to get it insured before I could get a license plate.  Had to get a license plate before I could drive it.  As you can see, it is a vicious circle that takes time to get completed.  Mission completed today!

Sweet ride Oldschool, it makes me sad Ii got rid of my 67 vert, she only had a six cylinder not a big block but she was fun to drive.

Yeah,

Just like it sits, through the mufflers, on pump gas, with no changes, it runs 10.34 ET @ 137 mph.  With only a few quick changes, nines would be easy.  BTW, there is no Nitrous on this car.  It's pretty cool---3/4 throttle and short shifting, it goes EASY low 12's........  Oldschool
