That's going to be very sweet, 41Husk!  That 340 is an excellent engine choice, too!

Thanks for resizeing, I needed one of my students to help me post.  It was originally Yellow.  when I bought it in 1982 it was red, I added the rallye hood and repainted it red it is going back to yellow.  It was a 6cylinder car with 8 1/4 rear.  When I bought it it had a 318.  I have installed a 8 3/4 and a 340.  Trying to get it in primer before Wrestling season starts and I am running out of time fast

Very Nice.  FYI it likely had a 7 1/4 rear.  E bodies never came with a 8 1/4.  I swapped out my 7 1/4 for an 8 3/4 as well.  Looking good

Thanks guys, I have a long way to go but I am starting to see a little light at the end of the tunnel.  I started taking her apart about 9 years ago and one thing lead to another.  I almost sold her 3 or 4 times.

I have more recent and better pictures of progress on the charger site.  I will post them up as soon as I figure out how to do it.

41husk,These are some great pitures of your project. It is sometimes tough to keep going as you can't see the finished product. Take a look at the picture when I brought my Cuda home and what it looks like today. Good luck with the project.

thanks for the words of encouragement!  I have really done well working on it during the season it is about 95% in primer now.  I hope I can get it completley in primer by next week, so I can get it in to the exhaust shop to have the exhaust installed.

I have taken more pictures but I need to get them put on disk, I am having the exhaust installed now and I am deleting the resinators.  Any opinions on that?  I hope to have it running and driving real soon.  Happy New year to all!!
