1) My fist car as a licensed driver was a 1970 Challenger 318 Automatic on the tree. It was Plum Crazy with black interior and a black top. I bought it from a dealer in! 973. I still curse the day I traded it in.

2) My current project a 1970 Challenger R/T 383 Slap Stix Plum Crazy. Re-living my youth, you bet. This car has had 3 owners including myself. It was last licensed on the road in 1987 and parked. Bought by the last owner in 1993 drove to his house and parked until I got it in July of 2005. It’s all original and currently under going a full restoration.

Just the one, '72 Challenger Rallye.
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Pic #2 and 3 of my ARII 1/24 scale model car

Phil in New England-Massachusetts  Always thank God for what you have!

I had 3 total, & the first was a '68 Barracuda convertible, slant 6, automatic with console, & in drivable condition about 10 years ago. Found it at a yard sale for $600 & sold it to a friend with some more parts I accumulated for $900 about 7 years ago. He's working on it with his son & plans a 318 swap for it.

Also had a '67 fastback, parts car that was originally a 273 V8, automatic with console, & pretty well stripped when I got it. Saw it at the Rhinebeck, NY swap meet, & when I was looking at it, the seller said for $100 he'll tow it to my house. That was a short amount of time to make that decision.

(I do have a pic of this somewhere, it's a stripped shell & it just has to be scanned.)

Right now, I have my '71 Barracuda that was originally a 318. It currently has a 400-4V, 727 automatic on the column, 8-3/4" rear, bench seat, had A/C, & is in decent shape. No frame, rockers, or cowl rust, just some in the typical sheet metal areas on the trunk floor, quarters & fenders. It'll be a while before I get to this one to fix it all.
