I don't know if ya'll know about this product or not. I thought that this product had been outlawed for many years. I happened upon this while googling fuel requiremnets and compression ratios. This company sells tetraethyl lead to consumers complete with mixture ratios to raise octane as high as you need it to be. Some of you folks with high compression engines or engines that tend to run a little hot need to give it a look. A little pricey, but if it works, it's worth every penny. The website is
