    Hello all, I've been a mopar lunaitc since day 1 so I think I'm in the right place here.
      I'm in the process of FINALLY getting off my @&& and restoring my 1970 Challenger R/T 440 Dana 4 speed. I'll try to send a few pics if I can figure this out.
     Here's a few pics from back in about 1995 if I remember......sorry,a little burnt out back then...................... also sorry, no digital camera back then either

    thanks for the comments guys, sorry about the huge pics. I forgot to resize them (knew I was forgetting something),d**n new guys. As for the peace sticker, it was on it when I got it in about 1993, along with an ashtry full of roaches....gotta love that.....definitely old school hippie.
     As for the condition of it now. I regret to say that for many years I left it neglected in the grass. I'll never forgive myself for that, but I am working towards putting her in the best shape I can right now.
     Here are a few pics after working on it today. Probably one of the last nice days We'll have till spring. How depressing.

    I'm from MA too!  The weather's been pretty nice lately, you can still fit in some work this week if you have time!   What was today?  Close to 70 degrees?

    Can you get you're car into a garage to work on?  Looks like you have a nice project to work on.  Lots of good info on this site!

    Welcome to the site.  You came to the right place.  I believe we are all mopar nuts here.  Seems to me to be a very good site and would recommend it to anyone.

    Glad to here you are getting started on the resto.  If you need any help on the project let me know.  I to have had very many and restored most all of them myself.

    Thanks everyone for the kind words, and help.
     Rev, even though I love the plum-crazy/with black, It just seem like everytime I go to a show, those colors seem to be most prevalent among the FEW mopars that are there, so I have decided to go with the color that was on the Dodge Intrepids, and
    Caravans in the early 90's (I guess you could call it a semi-light blue?)(although white, with with the flat black R/T side stripe, hood blackout stripe, and black vinyl top is not out of the question either.)
       S/B 72, what part of Ma. you from?............ New England....what a hell of a place to own a car like this(check out the snow pic) my poor car went through this B/S for about 8 LONG years.
      Flashcuda, thanks for the offering of help. I'm sure I will take you up on that in the near future, with a question or two, for sure.

     Also, just wanted to send a few pics of the mopars I've owned in the past. The primered 72 was my very first mopar. Drove to high school back in 90/91. Still haunts me to this day, no joke. The R/T S/E 440 was also a heartbreaker,yes there is one less now
     Sorry ahead of time for the 68 Camaro that got in the way in the background of a few of the pics(brothers, what can ya do). He's a mopar guy at heart though you could not tell from this purchase. Thats was his 68 dart in the background also, so he has redeemed himself.....somewhat........

    Did you say something about snow?  That's my car Saran wrapped under the snow.  Won't fit in the garage.  I feel your pain!  These pics are from last winter.

    S B 72, I'm from Worcester, about a half hour from ya. Have you ever ventured up to Worcester for the New England Summer Nationals around the 4th of July.(www.summernationals.com) Been going on now for about 15 years now. I'll pass along a few pics from this years gathering. Some very nice examples of some great beauties. Definitely a standout year for mopars(who kind of took over their own territory throughout the years on the other side of the lake up there). It's great, you dont have to wander through billions of first gen. camaros to see what you came there for. Dont get me wrong I do appreciated muscle cars in general, but WTF!!! How many camaros did GM make? I mean really now, and on top of this I have to walk by my brothers 68 everyday of the year sitting in the yard taking up space. OK I'm done...........feel much better now

    S B 72, love your pics of the snow by the way, I guess you can feel my pain, at least you were smart enough to put a cover on yours
       Also I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I am have a hell of a time trying to find a restoration shop around here to bring my shell to. I'm in Worcester, Massachusetts. Anyone know of any reputable shops west of the boston area. I know it's a long shot asking here, but ya never know. A lot of the shops around here don't want to touch the old cars. I didn't realize how tough it would be to hand over my hard earned money to someone willing to take it....
      Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated   Thanks guys
