Fender turn signals
« on: November 06, 2005 - 10:04:12 PM »
While I'm not being a total stickler for "correctness" on our '72 project, something has been sort of bugging me.

The fender turn signals on our car look different than the ones I am seeing (up close) on other 'Cudas.  The ones I have seen have mounting screws on top, while a ours are screwed on from the bottom.  Is this "correct" for a '72 'Cuda or did these come off some other car?  All the ones I see for sale in places like e-Bay also have top screws, none on the bottom.

Hello,
I have a 72 and it is screwed in from the bottom the ones you see on the top are for 73 and up. Correct me if im wrong but 70 had one style like this but made from lead then 71 and 72 had the style in the picture and 73 and up had the top screw ones.
Hope that helps

It helps a lot, now I know they are the right ones.  Never know since I guess this car has seen a couple of body shops in it's past.
Thanks!
