Here's a few more. The last 5 photos are Aussie Chargers with Hemi headed 265ci six cyl engines (see photo) exclusive to OZ. These factory R/T tripple Webber carbed weapons were E body sized & good for low 14 sec 1/4 miles in the early 70's. During their run of about 7 or 8 years they came fitted with 245 & 265 6cyl & 318, 340 & 360 v8s

SoS

PS the cop car is real it was almost a pleasure to get booked by one of these pusuit cars. Don't know how the owner manages to keep it street registered with all the gear still on it, if you look closely you'll see a speed radar hanging off the right hand side of the car. This car would have seen active duty about 1978

Hey SoS looks like a great show.
I'm a fan and not a fan of the Chrysler Chargers.

I like them and would possibly own one (V8 Only) but they are just to common around here, not common like Subaru common but not rare enough to have the WOW!! factor like a Challenger or Charger does. Having said that the performance is there and a good condition non-E series car can be picked up for $15,000-$20,000. I wouldn't mind a black Charger with a 340ci/727.

Thanks for the photos mate....
Oh Yeah!! 0-6 to the Wallabies. LMAO!!! j/k

All Blacks going for the Grand Slam....Did I mention the Netball? lol

Cheers,
Carl

Carl please keep all comments re Wallabies to yourself (I know they seem to suck big time currently) only Kiwis count netball as a sport LOL. As for Chargers I find they are growing on me more & more, I like the idea of a six cyl that can roll most standard V8s.

Yeah, the 340's have more hp tucked away inside them and stock are capable of running low 14's ie: the 265.
You any good at shipping cars over? lol Seen a couple in Aussie but I only know you basically, have some friends but they don't have phones and are usually just drunks over there.

I like this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/CHRYSLER-VALIANT-VH-CHARGER_W0QQitemZ4584914700QQcategoryZ96712QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

That's EXACTLY how'd I'd want my set up, maybe black or silver as well.
Maybe not that good-a-condition as I don't have that kind of dosh sitting around.

As for the netball, yeah, good come back I'll give you that one. lol

Cheers

Yep, the stripes and stuff are factory, so is the choice of 245, 265 or small block V8 (I forget which)

LOL Never mind mate just some friendly Tasman bashing. lol
Yip they come with a 265 6 cylinder HEMI capable of running the 1/4 mile in just a tick over 14 seconds.
The later models came with 318's, 340's and 360's. 904's and 727'S AND 4-Speed manuals.
