When I got the `69 coupe it had a broken drivers rear quarter glass and I figure no big deal to find one,WRONG!I have been searching for 3-4 years and have gotten the wrong pieces 4 times, either not tinted or for a fastback.I finally think I might have a guy who has the right piece and pay way more than I think it`s worth,$111.13 with shipping and just got back from the post office and open the package and it`s in a million pieces,I can`t win!It was packed in plenty of bubble wrap and the guy said he was going to insure it so hopefully I`ll get my money back but man am I frustrated.Of course I can`t even tell if it was the correct piece but obviuosly at this point it doesn`t matter.Oh well I guess the search goes on........

The glass in a million pieces, your excitement on the floor next to it. Sorry to hear that, hope you find one soon, let us know exactly what it is your looking for so we can keep an eye out for you. 69 coupe LR tinted but are there any different tinted ones or are they all the same? I travel a lot and may run onto something sometime and I'm sure others would look for you as well in their travels.

`69 Barracuda coupe drivers side rear quarter tinted glass.`67 style is bonded onto track and will not work as tracks are also different,`69 and I think `68 will work, needs to bolted to track with two bolts.I have a lead on one over at For A-bodies Only for sale sectiona nd am waiting for a response to see if he still has it and it`s the correct one.

I checked with them thru an e-mail request and they said yes they have it in stock $85 + shipping.I called the next day to order it and b/c of all the trouble with getting the wrong piece I asked the salesman to check to make sure it was the correct one.He told me he would call me back but after waiting 2 days and no return call I found it elsewhere.I may have to give them a second chance but if they can`t return a phone call what does that say about thier customer service?Maybe it`s just more bad luck finding this part?

There's a guy near Hartford CT that might be able to help. I bought my '71 Barracuda from him, & also traded various GTX & Charger parts with him. He's got tons of things stockpiled since the 1970's & knows the difference between a coupe & a fastback. His prices aren't the lowest, they're fair, & the parts are in excellent shape. He also restores trim & plastic grilles if you need something like that. Seems to be a decent guy to deal with.

His name & contact info:

Bryon Cwikla
Restoration Suppliers of Connecticut

He was supposed to move his shop at one point, but I don't know if he did yet. If the tel. # doesn't work, let me know & I can get his email address when I get home.

Sorry to hear that, Torred.  Hopefully you can find one soon.  BTW: have you ever checked out Stephensperformance out of Alabama yet?  I'm sure they could find you one.  Wildcat Auto Wreckers may also have one for you, but they're out of the Oregon area.

Sorry to hear of your troubles!

Getting stuff sent is scary!  I remember when I received my Go Wing that I got off Ebay, I was holding it and the end of the box was flopping around.  Sure enough the end 2 foot section was flopping around and cracked off.  Did UPS use this for a bat or something I thought?  Had to do some creative glueing and the guy gave me a partial refund.

Hope you get a refund and hope you find your glass!
