Thanks WSM, That makes a lot of sense and helps while I'll be impatiently waiting for it's return. I actually have plenty to do to keep me busy though, need to get the dash assy ready, the heater a/c unit cleaned up, tested and ready, the bumpers re-chromed and new components lined up, the seats, etc. etc. etc. I have plenty to do yet! Does 5,000.00 sound reasonable to completely ready and paint this? It is getting a new trunk floor, one quarter panel, dents and dings removed, fenders installed everything prepped and painted any color I choose, then I assemble everything else, glass, vinyl top (if I end up going that route), interior etc. That is based on not finding more things to repair that we couldn't see but with the car stripped as it is, we both feel there shouldn't be too many surprises once he gets into it further. I was going to do the trunk floor but my arm has finally failed and I can't do it. I can do mechanical pretty good but to sit and use a grinder or sander for long periods of time, just shoot me!
