Which one would you keep if you had to sell one
« on: November 10, 2005 - 05:57:57 PM »
I sometimes wonder if I had to sell one of my e bodies which one would go,Hard descision I hope I never have to make
What Ya think,Which one would you guys keep?
73 Chally Rally,340 4 speed with all the factory goodies,Numbers matching
70 Barracuda GC,383 Super Commando,rally guages,Drum brakes(Will be disc)727,Numbers Matching
Assuming both have been restored(which i am working on)

I think I would lean more towards the Barracuda...........but then the Chally is a 4 speed, lol, very hard to decide, but again neither are for sale and probably never would be.I know Why ask Why?Cause I would just like to know which is more desireable

thanks

My preference is the 70 Barracuda,  I don't really care for the 73 Challenger as much as if were a 70 Challenger.  But it is up to each on preference.

I'm with this guy on this one.  If you owe money and that's the reason for selling, just flee the country with your now three cars and head south of the border. j/k (I really don't recommend nor support such an action as it is wrong....k, that should cover me in case anyone's keeping tabs. lol)

thats what i thought,I like the Cuda best also, but the challenger is pretty cool in its own right.I dont need the money and aint going to sell either for any reason, too hard to find numbers cars 30+ years later. The challenger will appreciate as well and I love a 4 speed. In fact i was looking at a dart today to possibly make a 440 dart,Will it fit?I already got the motor/trans,it was out of a 69 charger r/t

I'd have to say keep the Cuda.  Tough decision though.

Since I have a 727 Cuda, I am biased. But keep in mind that the Torqueflight is really a superior transmission than the Chrysler 4 speed. Even back in 1970 when drag racers shunned most  automatics, Mopar racers preferred them, in spite of just 3 gears. They were faster because they shifted so much better.

But I know that the 4 speed cars bring more $ on resale, but then again a 70 or 71 is more desirable than a 72 or 73. Keep the Cuda and buy a 69 Corvette with a 4 speed.
