I can't believe you guys are talking about a calendar.  I own a printing shop and was thinking about suggesting it but I thought you guys would think I was crazy.  We recently came up with the idea and sent out some post cards to our customers and are waiting to see what kind of feedback we get.  We also included the idea of personalized Holiday Greeting cards.  Here's our web site.

So far looks like there is going to be a great intrest. And we have an offering of help from a print shop. Now to iron out the set up, details, and a time frame. This is going to be awesome!

Perhaps we could make a bunch and sell them on eBay and all profits are donated to Ross to help fund this site (Cuda-Challenger).
Just start the ad off like this:

A collection of digital photos from members of cuda-challenger.com forum.
The hottest MoPars around, E-Bodies!!

I think they would sell pretty well.

Just an idea............

No "A" bodies allowed?.............Oldschool

On the inside back cover page you could do a collage of small pictures of other type members cars that are very deserving to be on there too, maybe call it other great Mopars or honorable mention or something. There are many very nice B body members who are very active CC.com members. Just trying to have a way to include everyone, has nothing to do with me owning a B body, seriously! Okay, maybe just a little. Maybe I could get mine on the back page in a year or two!

IMO, if we do it by vote, we need to make sure everyone realizes there are many, many more cars on this forum that are very deserving and this in no way would be saying anything negative about the ones who aren't on the calendar. This could be an annual thing and would make it so many members would have a chance to have their beautiful cars displayed. The vote should be based on the best representation of what this hobby is all about. The most beautiful, the most bad arse, the most correct to the last bolt and nut, the most tricked out pro-streeted or whatever else would represent a good representation of the members cars here. When can I place my order? LOL, let's do it!!

Actually I would see how many cars are available and if needed . . . you could put 2 cars for each month or more.  Sounds like a sweet idea . . . I could probably make one but would need a printing company to make enough for everyone.  I had mentioned before that it would be cool if we could take the info from the Car of the Month every year and make a calender.  Need to wait a year now so that we have 12 cars . . . January would be REV-IT-UP/Redline and so on . . . . I like the idea anyways!!  Very cool!

I agree 4C but it would be fun to have an annual vote for the calander car thread and get it done that way. Many of the cars that are cars of the month should make it on there anyway and make it so the previous year cars don't qualify. I believe it would generate more member intrest and input instead of being chosen by the administrator. We will even let him vote too if he wants! LOL, J/K

I have done them for other boards for the last 4 years in some cases. I usually offer them in two formats. One is a 6 month laminated sheet - that is Jan to June on one 36 x 36 sheet and July to December on another. These are good for garages and such. The other is the typical 12 x 17.5 calendar single month displayed. It has grown over the years in that I've used suggestions from those that have had  them. The biggest suggestion was that the pages have no perforations on them when the month is over. The guy whose car was featured would like to have an unmolested page when its over. What has been come up with for the last 3 years is a slide bar arrangement that is like a document clamp. Friction holds the months in place and they simply slide out after the month passes and the page is unbutchered. While not in the Hallmark area of refinement, there has been zero complaints.
I would suggest if anyone is leery or skeptical for them to ask on Scatpack, Moparnuts, 1970 Charger Registry for feedback as to the quality and satisfaction from the purchasers.
Here's a look at some

Those look great to me, where do I sign up for one? I guess the first order of business is finding out who's cars are going to be on there then going from there, not sure who's going to manage that part of it. Anyway, put me on the list for one when we get it figured out. Can these be ready by January or even Christmas if we get moving right away?

Yup - posters still made upon request.

Plum - if the candidates get the cars in ASAP - and i'll leave the selection up to others, yes I can get these out before Christmas. The 13 page calendars (cover page don't forget) are on heavy bond (36 pound) unless a request for laminate is made.

I don't know if this has ever been suggested or if it has already been done. What if all the CC.com members submit a pic of their car and all of us vote on our favorite 12. Then have a calender made up so we all can admire these awesome cars month after month. Just an idea I had today. As far as cost, I'm not sure. I'd pay up to $15 to have a cool all Cuda/ Challenger calender. Any feedback and help from the computer literate would be greatly appreciated to help organize  this task.

I don't want to go around fishn4cuda but does a moderator need to do this or can we start a vote thread on our own? We could send a private vote to a central non partisan member if that would work better. Any draw backs from doing it this way? Lets hear some suggestions of how we need to get this going, I'd really like to get one by Christmas so we need to move on this.

I've got a note into Ross just to have his Okeedokee on this.  I think if it's OK with Ross, the best way to handle this is to allow one of the moderators to accept in picture submissions then create a thread with all the pics to be voted on.  I think we should have some guidelines as to who can submit...nothing major...just don't want folks joining just to get their car in a calendar. For instance..

1.  Must be a member of CC.com
2.  Must have at least 25 post count
3.  Must own the car that is submitted

Those are off the top of my head.  After the voting is ended, we can hand the project over to 6pkrunner to work his magic.  I think that will work??
