Rusty/SE stops by for visit with Rev-it-up, RedLine & PixieDuster

We were at this show today, and Rusty was in town and dropped by.  We hung out and talked R/T SE stuff.   We also got to visit with OldSchool and his green barracuda, and also Famous Frank, who was there with his red barracuda- (the one that was in the main building at Carlisle last year)   Anyways we cruised back to the ranch to check out PixieDuster's progress.  The 'Duster is being stripped right now, with some sand blasting going on in the engine bay.  -- getting our money's worth from that pop-up canopy!    Pic 1 - PixeDuster, Rusty/SE and Rev-it-up -  Pic 2 checking out the progress on the bay inside the /climate controlled hermetically sealed /operating room / biosphere / dust containment contraption [patent pending]

Hey Rev/Red/Pixie,
I would like to get in on the patent process of your contamination-containment device. Looks like a fortune to be had there. I was wondering if the engine on the stand in one of the photos is the one for Pixie? If it is, give us a few details.........Oldschool

THEN--- Rusty makes a BIG surprise -  he pulls out of his car an ORIGINAL NOS Special Edition Rear Trim Panel -- one of several that he had that he's been saving for his R/T SE project! !   (those in Carlisle remember Rev and I hunted down the back corner replacements, but Crycho correcly identified our situation- previous owner had cut off the trim corners -- so we NEEDED a replacement.  Rusty remembered that-- and made a very generous offer.  Of course we accepted!  Thanks Rusty!

Very cool!!! Very nice gesture Rusty. Sounded like a pretty flat out day with many a nice MoPar.

Did you ask him if he had a NOS gator top? ;-)

Sounds like a great guy!

We need a full update on the Pixie Duster too. :-)

Well put Chryco, on both accounts. I overpaid for my tail panel a few years back(or so I thought). I could probably get twice what I paid for it now without saying it was from a Hemi car(LOL).

Thanks folks, glad to help out...now if i could only find a couple of NOS '70 front valence mouldings (two-piece i believe as opposed to the one-piece ones that were on the 72-74s) but evidently they're made of unobtainium, lol. Where's Harry Potter when you need him?? Chrometrimmus Appearus!!!
It's good to be focused on one car and i've ordered a two-car carport before my RT/SE totally fades away. Someday a nice garage but for now at least she'll be out of the weather.

Dude, are we in Carlisle yet???

All is good Brandon, thanks. My job requires me to be on the road through this thursday, getting home just in time for low 30's at night this weekend...i know - whine, whine, whine, lol...funny thing is that SE tail panel trim was one of, if not the last that Y1 had when i bought it back in March of 94. Joe was on the phone to Y1 at the time and pushed me to purchase it...thanks, Joe. It's got a 'SHWEET' home now i think...
